- Commercial/Business Litigation
Lauren happily admits she’s a Type A personality. Competitiveness and decisiveness are part of what’s made her such a successful commercial litigator. And while some may struggle to define exactly what sets their firm apart from others, Lauren answers that question without hesitation. “Everyone here helps each other,” she says. “I like helping people. I like solving problems.” The firm is a collaborative environment, and Lauren is always ready to pitch in and lend a helping hand when her practice area overlaps with another attorney’s. It’s those interactions that make her a more effective lawyer.
While she will remain forever grateful that her career brought her to Texas, Lauren’s a California girl at heart. While attending the University of Southern California, Lauren pledged Pi Beta Phi. As an alumnus, she regularly volunteers to speak with young women who are considering a career in law.
Strong communication and developing personal relationships is an important part of Lauren’s practice. Whenever she sees a continuing legal education opportunity or a charity event, she’s quick to invite a client along. “If we’re friends outside the office, we’re going to like working together.” Lauren understands that when she and her clients connect on a personal level, the rest just falls into place.
